You want your hands to stop sweating, and your mouth not to feel like the Sahara desert. You know you have to pop the question but, you want to have the most perfect ring you can find. You have looked, and searched until you feel as if your eyes are going to rebel, jump out of your head, and run away. Relax, why not see if any of the timeless and special handmade engagement rings would be more to your liking?

Originality seems to be a hard quality to come by, in this generation. It seems as if all the unique ideas have all been used. How are you going to show your girl, that you are romantic, and the man she needs by her side for the rest of her life? Come on, you should not give up now! Grab the horse by the mane, jump up in the saddle, and gallop as quick as you can to the nearest computer and get yourself online!

She may like ducklings and you may want to have one (or two) stamped on the outside of the ring, or even under a transparent stone, so that the duck image can be seen. This effect would be similar to how some graduation rings use images under their stones. Hey, you are paying for the ring, so you have it made exactly as you choose.

Have you ever looked at how gorgeous white gold looks under a sprinkling of Amethyst stones? What about rose colored gold, with Onyx streaks on top? Other stones that are lovely on silver or white gold are Jasper, Turquoise, and Coral. If your lady is a nature lover, she may appreciate a ring with one or all of these stones.

Look up the jewelers in your location who have at least ten years experience. Explain your choice of metals, and any styles you feel will express the woman you are going to ask to marry you. You may even decide you want her in on the creation process. Have a lovely life together.
